Audio – Alma and His People Escape – A teacher and Primary children are reminded about Alma’s story of gaining a testimony, teaching and baptizing the people and the escape of Limhi’s people from the Lamanites. We will read about Alma’s people learning to trust in the Lord and the power of prayer even when we can only pray in our hearts. From their exciting story we can learn that the Lord does keep His promises. We will also discuss the fourth Article of Faith and learn about the first four principles and ordinances of the gospel and why they are important.
Audio – Alma the Younger Repents – A teacher and Primary children review how Alma’s people have their prayers answered by escaping from the Lamanites and how the 4th Article of Faith teaches us some of the principles and ordinances of the gospel. In this chapter. we will read about how the prayers of Alma and the members are answered just as our prayers can be today. Alma the Younger and the sons of Mosiah have an unusual experience that changes their lives. From this we learn the steps to repent and be forgiven of our sins so we can be happy.
Audio – The Sons of Mosiah Become Missionaries – A teacher and Primary children learn about the missionary efforts of the Sons of Mosiah, how preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ can give us the strength to stand up for what is right, and the importance of defending truth by how Gideon and Alma the Younger defended the Church from a wicked man named Nehor. We also learn from the Nephites and the wicked Amlicites, the importance of having faith in your prayers and following the teachings of Jesus Christ.
